2019 Youth Apprenticeship Signing Day Ceremony
You are cordially invited to attend the inaugural Washington State Youth Apprenticeship Signing Day Ceremony on Friday, June 28th at ShoWare Center in Kent, Washington. This event will bring together nearly 150 Youth Apprentices representing industries from across Washington State including aerospace, manufacturing, culinary, healthcare, automotive, information technology and many more. Signing Day is an opportunity to recognize the committment from Washington's newest Youth Apprentices and their hiring employers. Signing Day will bring together high school students, educational leaders, elected officials, community partners and local workforce organizations to celebrate registered apprenticeship and this new career-connected learning opporunity for youth in our state. The event will kick-off at 3:00 p.m. and conclude at 6:00 p.m. To reserve your seat, please RSVP using the Eventbrite link. Additional information will be sent prior to the event. FAQs When should I arrive? All Youth Apprentices participating will be required to arrive at 2:00 p.m. or one hour prior to the event. All other attendees should arrive no later than 2:30 p.m. What are my parking options for the event? The ShoWare Center will have ample parking in their parking lot for this event. Parking is free to all attendees. Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? You do not need to bring your physical ticket to the event. Will there be food provided? There will be light refereshments during the event however dinner will not be provided. Will there be assigned seating? There will be assigned seating for all Youth Apprentices, Youth Apprentice employers, elected official, educational represenatives and other VIP guests. All other attendees will have general seating.
