AUTUMN AWE WELLNESS RETREAT

Friday, September 27, 2019, 3:00 PM - 11:00 AM

A pause for practice and ritual inspired by ancient Jewish tradition Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in awhile, you could miss it. Ferris Bueller Friday, September 27th - Sunday, September 29th, 2019 As summer turns the corner into autumn, the momentum of September can sweep us up in the start of school and a fast filling calendar of commitments. Ancient Jewish tradition offers an opportunity to pause and turn inward during this potent time of year. It is a time to harvest the lessons of the past year and to adapt and create practices that return us to our truest selves. Integrative health coach Ariel Zaslav and naturopathic doctor Michal Waldfogel have teamed up to combine their shared passion for an empowered, meaningful, accessible, non-judgemental and relevant approach to both health and Jewish practice. With over fifteen years each of experience in education, they specialize in holding the serious and the silly together at the same time. With these two as your guides, you can expect to go deep while feeling light. They have created the Autumn Awe Wellness Retreat as a space set aside to explore time-tested wisdom on the weekend leading into the Jewish New Year (Rosh haShana). Together we rest, reflect, restore and return to our intentions to live in alignment with our values and purpose. No big deal, right? Against the backdrop of beautiful landscapes, we soothe ourselves with soaks and sauna. In community, we nourish ourselves with love-infused meals and wellness offerings that inspire a joyful, authentic approach to our health and well-being. This retreat may be SIMPLY PERFECT for you if ...you feel that spark of YES YES YES when you heard about this retreat. ...you have some kind of Jewish background, but never really found your in. ...you enjoy learning about different cultural practices from a place of curiosity and respect. ...you love a Jew (or two) and want to learn how to support them in their practices (and maybe pick something up for yourself). ...you want to invest in your health this year and know that a gentle, supportive community is going to serve you well. ...youre not Jewish, but find yourself getting invited to all kinds of events, like Shabbat dinners and Passover. ...you are craving community and ritual as a foundation/framework for physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health.
