Bite of Greece
The Bite of Greece is a 3-day festival featuring traditional street-style lunch and dinner, handmade Greek pastries, crafts and imported deli items for sale in the marketplace, live Greek music and Greek dancing lessons for the cultural enthusiasts.
It’s a perfect place to meet friends and family for a jolt of Greek coffee and handmade pastries at the Kafeneio, or a mid-day snack of roasted lamb sandwich and horiatiki salad, or stop by after work to enjoy live Greek music with a glass of Greek wine and fried kalamari on the patio.
This year, the festival will include a cultural exhibit curated by Greeks in Washington, the Greek American Historical Museum of Washington State. The exhibit will feature costumes, textiles and other artifacts from some of the first Greeks to immigrate to Washington State, offering a peek into the lives left behind to start a new life in a new country.
