Coffee Origins - Seattle
The Coffee Origins Lab takes a broad look at the global coffee trade, outlining trade and consumption history, as well as difference among coffees worldwide. Students will learn about coffee agronomy, varieties, processing, production techniques, regional traditions, and the evolution of consuming culture. Students will taste the broad diversity of coffees in the world through several cupping flights. If you are a wholesale partner, please reach out to your local rep for the access code to this course. It is recommended that students take Cupping Fundamentals prior to this course due to the multiple cupping activities. Q: Is there parking available? A: There are several parking garages and surface lots nearby. Street parkig is also available, but it's kind of expensive. Q: Is lunch provided? A: Please plan on bringing a lunch or going to a nearby cafe or restaurant. We will provide a light snack during a midmorning break and will take an hour long lunch break.
