Karen Robbins and Dale Baskin, are authors of the book, "Flags Across America". Karen will share many of the gorgeous American flag photos from the collection of over 300 photos included in the book. She will also tell snippets of the never-before-told stories about the flag from artists, athletes, aviators, teens, former POWs, Tuskegee Airmen, Doolittle Raiders, and everyday Americans passionate about giving back to their country. Come and enjoy this eclectic collection of our nation's symbol folded and unfurled. It's a great way to celebrate the upcoming Memorial Day. Karen Robbins is an elementary school educator, TV teacher, author, publisher and book/toy designer. Karen is a native of Washington and was raised in a patriotic family in Sumner. She holds a bachelor degree from the University of Washington and a Master's degree from the University of Puget Sound. She lives in Gig Harbor and enjoys presenting to children and adults of all ages. She has also authored children's books which she will have on display after the lecture.
