Seattle Composers Alliance Presents: Grant Writing Panel Feb. 20th, 7pm-9pm Seattle Drum School {e_description}#x5b;Georgetown location{e_description}#x5d; 1010 S Bailey St, Seattle, WA 98108 FEATURING Lydia Boss, Program Manager, Artist Trust Melissa Newbill, Program Manager, 4Culture Irene Gomez, Program Manager, City of Seattle Office of Arts and Culture Art grants can provide you with support and resources to create your most brilliant workso how do you get them? The SCA is proud to host a panel of experts to present and discuss the important aspects of applying for an art grant. The evening is moderated by celebrated Seattle composer and performer Amy Denio, who has received numerous grants throughout her career. Printed materials relating to grants will be available. AGENDA 7pm: Half hour presentations by Artist Trust, 4Culture, and ARTS 8:30pm: Q&A ADMISSION Non-members: $10 Members: Complimentary The SCAs events are welcoming and inclusive to all. In alignment with the City's Race and Social Justice Initiative, we work to eliminate institutional racism in our programs, policies and practices. The Office is supported by the 16-member Seattle Arts Commission, citizen volunteers appointed by the mayor and City Council. -------------------------------------------------------- Denio (rhymes with Ohio) is an internationally recognized composer, producer, arranger, multi-instrumentalist, singer, music transcriber, teacher and improviser. In 2015 she was inducted into the Seattle Jazz Hall of Fame by Earshot Jazz.
