SKCCAC Meet and Greet and Performance of Peeling
Please join us for the first meet and greet hosted by the Seattle-King County Cultural Accessibility Consortium! You will have the opportunity to: Network with colleagues in the accessibility and art space Attend an accessible performance of Peeling, produced by Sound Theatre Company Take advantage of the radical hospitality ticket pricing for the Peeling performance Please purchase tickets AHEAD OF TIME here. This will help the event be more manageable for the small front of house staff. About Peeling: Alfa, Beaty and Coral are three actresses who are disabled and have been cast as the chorus of an absurdly over-produced, post-modern production of The Trojan Women. As the Euripides’ story unfolds of the women of Troy who lose their children in the bloody conflicts of men, so in parallel run the stories of Alfa, Beaty and Coral. The three are harsh and clever critics of each other, themselves, the privileged production team and the spectacle that surrounds them. Accessibility: The event space is accessible by wheelchair and is located on the 1st level of the Seattle Center Armory. Visitors should access it from the east side of the Seattle Center Campus if possible. Sound Theatre Company's goal with this production is to make every performance accessible to every potential audience member.
