Terry R. Wickham's Double Vision Red Carpet World Premiere

Sunday, August 4, 2019, 7:00 PM

New York based Award-Winning Filmmaker Terry R. Wickham will be holding the Red Carpet World Premiere of his new psychological suspense-thriller Double Vision in his hometown of Everett, Washington at the prestigious Historic Everett Theatre. Wickham, whose previous feature film Devil’s Five won Best Horror Film at Hell’s Kitchen NYC Festival last year, and whose film Washington Road Won 3-Minute Chillers Contestsponsored by Apple, talks about the excitement this opportunity brings, “I can’t believe I’m getting the chance to show my new film in the biggest, most heralded theater in the town where I grew up as a boy. I went to Silver Lake Elementary School, Eisenhower Middle School, and Cascade High School for two years all located in Everett. Then my family moved so I transferred over to Snohomish High School for the last two years and graduated from there. I love the Everett/Snohomish County area and have a lot of friends and family that still live locally. This honestly is going to be a dream come true for a boy wanting to be filmmaker ever since seeing John Carpenter’s The Thing at Everett Mall Cinemas in the summer of 1982.” Double Vision Synopsis A couple who dated in the past reconnect after a decade apart but their bliss is shattered by pure terror. Two women who are business partners are having issues professionally, leading to an unimaginable outcome. These two seemingly disparate stories are woven together seamlessly with a surprising twist. Wickham finishes up by saying, “I made this film because I wanted to tell a love story.  Of course my love story needed to be rife with suspense and tension, but it’s not a horror film.  I molded Double Vision after the work of the late Alfred Hitchcock, Brian De Palma, with a little Wes Craven and John Carpenter thrown in for good measure. What I’m most proud about Double Vision is that it’s highly cinematic, that there are tender and mature moments of love, and that there are some really funny moments the audience will probably laugh out loud with. But it’s also suspenseful with a strong focus on story, acting, cinematic mood, and atmosphere.  There are acting performances in the film that are quite good and some are even outstanding.  If you are looking for a film with real people in real places doing real things, then Double Vision is for you.  I hope to see you at the Premiere and we are expecting a full house.  Wickham will introduce the film and there will be a Q&A session after the movie where anyone can ask me or any of my cast/crew present anything about the movie.”   FAQs   Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
