Summary: Hear Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star through a variety of different musical styles.
Description: Explore a well-loved children’s song through myriad styles and genres, including slow blues, boogie-woogie, swing, reggae, salsa, rock-and-roll, and the psychedelic Jimi Hendrix-style of music with local musician Michael Powers. For all ages., This program is part of this year’s Summer of Learning program Explore Your World!, which encourages reading and activities around science, technology, technology, arts and math. We are offering over 250 free youth programs throughout the city this summer. You can pick up a Summer Action Guide at any Library location beginning June 24th.
Notes: Library events and programs are free and everyone is welcome. Registration is not required., The 2019 Summer of Learning program, Explore Your World!, is funded by generous support from The Seattle Public Library Foundation.
