Learn more:

SULE GREG WILSON has been blessed to share culture and spirit with people all over the US, in Africa, Europe, and Mexico for nearly fifty years. He first performed African music and dance at age twelve in hometown Washington, DC., and has since worked with Baba Olatunji, the International Afrikan American Ballet, DanceBrazil, Sweet Honey in the Rock vocalists Ysaye Barnwell, Taj Mahal, John Sebastian, Mike Seeger, and more. He has produced six CDs of his own music and the DVD/Book, “Drumpath Rhythms: A Method for Teaching and Learning Percussion,” Later this year, the updated, expanded e-book version of The Drummer’s Path will be available for purchase and download.

KEITH TERRY is a percussionist/rhythm dancer whose work encompasses a number of allied performance disciplines — music, dance, theater, performance art — which he brings together to create an artistic vision that defies easy categorization. As a self-defined "Body Musician," Keith uses the oldest musical instrument in the world — the human body (his own) — as the basis for exploring, blending and bending traditional and contemporary rhythmic, percussive and movement possibilities.

Kiki Valera brings his red hot band of high energy super-danceable Cuban Son music to the World Rhythm Festival. This special WRF performance will feature Cuban cuatro virtuoso Kiki Valera and his dazzling cuatro guitar solos, along with the fabulous polyrhythms of percussionists Cuban born Pedro Vargas on bongos and Puerto Rican born Joe de Jesus on congas and lead vocals. This is high energy Cuban dance music brought to you by the former director of Santiago de Cuba's beloved son septeto, La Familia Valera Miranda. Rounding out the group will be Cubans Javier Marú on guitar & Alfredo Polier on vocals and maracas, Dean Schmidt on bass and special guests!
