Wildflower Wellness Retreat
Treat yourself to a day of therapeutic activities to restore your vitality, inspire your creativity with food, and reconnect you to your wise self. Do you struggle to feed your body what you know it needs? Do you feel reactive to food - like you're at the whim of cravings? Are you running on empty or stretched so thin that you've lost sight of how to truly care for yourself? Are you seeking a more mindful relationship with food? If so, please join me for a day-long Wellness Retreat, held on Vashon Island. During our time together we'll focus on therapeutic food and mindfulness practices, to support women who are healing from chronic or unexplained digestive distress and associated symptoms of anxiety, low energy, ongoing infections, pain, and poor sleep. Retreats are easefully structured to include mindfulness practices, a therapeutic meal and snacks, sacred circle time for meditation and reflection, a restorative yoga class, and unstructured social time to share tips, vet concerns, and get the help you need from a small and supportive community of women. Throughout the day, we'll share tea with local honey, lots of healthy snacks, and a therapeutic meal prepared together that supports your dietary requirements. We will practice gentle stretching to help us connect to our bodies, and learn tools for supporting our healing process physically and energetically. You'll learn how to enhance the 'listening' process that is so crucial to healing from chronic symptoms and empowering your relationship with food. Space is limited to offer each woman an optimal restorative experience. You don't have to be a client to participate, all are welcome!! If you don't live on the island, I encourage you to book an Airbnb for the evening and treat yourself to a true getaway.
