Discussion:

We've got a brief break in the action tonight and Thursday, with additional sunshine and warmer temperatures after a round of morning clouds.

Friday will see another weakening front move in for increasing clouds and an increasing chance of showers in the afternoon.

Cool air left behind Friday's front will still produce a showers Saturday mainly in the mountains and near the convergence zone. but they will be mixed with partly sunny skies.

Sunday we will see a front push into the northwest corner of the state during the day bringing showers to the coast and maybe parts of Puget Sound .  Right now it looks like the front will stall over the northwest corner of the state Sunday into Memorial Day. This will maintain partly sunny skies for most of Puget Sound for the Holiday with a chance of showers along the coastal beaches and maybe in Whatcom and San Juan counties. It will be warmer for the Holiday with highs in the mid to upper 60s.
